Was anyone able to get their orders in today?

I had persimmons in my cart but when I went to check out they were sold out.

I was able to get 12 trees and then submitted my order because the website was acting up. I wanted to get some more but I’ll probably hold off as I already have 6 other trees coming from another place. 3255EA2E-134C-4DDD-99D9-D85725DF0AD9.jpeg

My brother ran into the same thing with persimmons. He got a couple crabs he didn’t want and a couple pears. I’m out of room so I held off. I’m grafting from here on out.

I spent my afternoon yesterday hitting th refresh button to catch them when they got put up. Almost missed them but was able to get 14 pear trees. In my mad dash to check out I didnt get the 15 total that I wanted. I also wanted to get some hot the rifle deer pears but I never saw any of them come available. But I am tickled pink to have gotten 14 this year after missing out completely last year.

I missed out this year. I had a few in the cart ready to go and kept refreshing for the Candy Crab. It never did show as available, and then I missed out on the ones I had in my cart since they sold out in the meantime.

I hope he updates his site, so once a tree is in your cart, you have 15 minutes or something similar to that, where it is your tree.

I put my order in at 9/24 6:07am and I still missed out on a few trees they recommended for my property, but Ryan mentioned I need to check back later this fall. However, Chris at Turkey Creek Trees did have the Bigdog I was looking for. Nabbed a couple and doubledown on a few more from them. We'll see...just kicking my orchard off next spring.

I put my order in at 9/24 6:07am -- I still missed out on a few trees, but ordered them from Turkey Creek Trees

Product Quantity Price
Buckman Crab Crabapple - 3-5' (1/2'' dia.) 1 $24.00
Chestnut Crabapple - 4-6' (+1/2'' dia.) 1 $29.00
Dolgo Crabapple - 4-6' (+1/2'' dia.) 1 $29.00
Kerr Crabapple - 3-5' (1/2'' dia.) 1 $24.00
Sweet Dog - 4-6' (+1/2'' dia.) 1 $32.95

They went on sale around 4 or 5pm on the 23rd. And after having trees go out of stock when they were in my cart already, I closed out my order once it let me. I went back in and thought about adding more but I didn’t want to be charged for double shipping then try and get in touch with him to explain what happened and try to get the charges refunded.

He was right about having more trees this year if he still had some available 13 hours later. But it was obvious what the majority wanted as those sold out in minutes.

He picked the trees out for my property/soil/ph a few weeks before. I knew what I was after for the most part. Yes, most of the 6 footers were gone, but did get a few. I'm satisfied for my year one additions.
