You need thermal imaging like an ATN scope. Moonlight is hardly ever light enough for properly identifying what you are shooting at. Shooting at fleeting shadows in the moonlight is not a good idea.

Thermal, digital, red/green weapon light, or NV, whichever your budget allows, but I agree with Mennoniteman, be sure of your target. I use NV, for two reasons. When I bought it the better digitals were not available, and I couldn't afford the thermals (and still can't)

Well actual hunting season for them here has closed and he didn't get a single one. They are however a target of opportunity around here, so they still are not entirely safe! The neighbor kid down the road had some success trapping a few so that's a good thing.
