Can anyone help ID the acorn on the left? I had two does feed on the smaller dark ones during my last hunt and ignore the other, which I'm pretty sure is from a red oak.

Acorns (just like the leaves) can vary so much depending on age and development and the like I would hate to even venture a guess. A up close picture of the leaves will be a tremendous help. Sometimes even the caps on the acorn can help with identification. The bark on the tree can help as well.
Here are pics of the acorn caps and what I think is the tree. Leaves are still on the tree but way to high for me to get a good pic. Thanks again for any feedback.
