"Whitetail Hollow" - 90 Acres NE Oklahoma.

I am trying to figure out how it can rain several times every day in different sections of our county but can always...just...miss us completely :(

Back yard red clover is doing well in the shade of the trees but our actual open Durana white clover plots are pretty sad...

Lots of pollinators behind our house...

Hey Johnny. I am glad you decided to find a place to keep your thread going. I have always enjoyed following along on the other place. I hunt similar terrain as you do. Do you know how to overlay topo maps on your google earth pic? I have learned a lot from you and always wondered how you set up your stands relative to terrain.
Keep up the great job. Looks like some great bucks already showing back up this year!

I have been trying to figure out how to do that...I can tell you every stand other than the food plot stands are set up in travel areas along the edges of hollows and creek bottoms.

Thanks for following along!

Remind me where your place is?

Drought is painful. Looks like Norway Spruce that died? The only place Norway Spruce grows on my place is in the yard where I keep it watered. Loblolly x Pitch Pine is more drought tolerant than spruce, but it'll still be green when it's dead, just like Christmas Trees are green after they're cut. I hope you get rain soon.

Aging these 2 bucks time...what's your educated guess?

1st buck is a buck I named "Hurt 9" last year.

I put the deer over in the trail cam section under the subforum for "age and score"... Go over and give it a shot. It may surprise you!

It is getting pretty old having multiple storms in our county daily with not a drop of rain hitting either one of our properties...

This apple tree aborted all of its apples...

Little orchard getting really dry...
