Tree and "acorn" help

Hey Guy's,

There are things I know less about than I know about trees but it involves flying the space shuttle. I've got tons of the huge "acorns" shown in the pic all over my farm but have no idea what they really are. I've also attached a pic of the leaves on the tree from which they seem to have fallen although I haven't actually seen any of them hanging on the tree. I'm sure this is probably a pretty common tree but I'm ignorant of anything that's not an evergreen for the most part. Thanks in advance.

I apologize. For some reason, uploading the pics simply will not work. Will try later (assuming I don't end up throwing my iPad like a frisbee).

Im not sure what they are, I'm thinking Bur oak by size or swamp chestnut. But I would love for you to send me some of those acorns.

Thanks Champ and Native. These things are huge but I had never seen them before. I'll send you some Champ if there are any left when I'm back at the farm this weekend. Shoot me an address and I'll try and hook you up.
