Japaneese beetles

I had some Japaneese beetles eat the leaves on some cherry, apple, and plum and peach trees. I sprayed them yesterday with bonide. My question is will it kill the trees or just the leaves they chewed on?

My oaks and many others get attacked really bad most years. Usually they live but I do believe its very hard on the trees and probably makes them unhealthy and sets them back.

They'll be fine if the Bonide doesnt kill them.
