I'm in the mood to do some guessing tonight, so I will take a stab at this one. I believe it is Spreading Sedge (Carex laxiculmis). Everything fits on this including the semi-evergreen characteristic. See pictures I found below. Let me know what you think.

I don't know whether to give you a like or not. There's a good chance that you nailed it (as usual).
I guess we will soon see some heads on it and we will know for sure.
So, what do I do about it? I'm really starting to want to throw in the towel with plotting. Its a constant struggle fighting stuff I don't want. I'm fine with a lot of weed varieties, but others are depressing the crap out of me.

I think we just have to be vigilant and do the best we can with the problem weeds. I have a theory that we get a lot of invasive stuff from tornadoes. I have found pieces of building materials before on my farm that showed up after a tornado occurred over 100 miles away. You know that the wind also has to carry seed.

I don't know what would work on it other than Gly, but someone on the forum may be able to chime in.

If invasives are bothering your plots really bad, you might consider going with annuals and just replanting every year. It's not a bad strategy in some places, and it helps to beat the invasives.
