I've seen a group of turkeys run off coyotes before, those things are fearless

I've seen similar scenes, but that does look really close. I've seen coyotes pass by them at maybe 50 yards. You can tell by the body language of the turkeys in your picture (necks stretched out and the direction they are pointed) that they are well aware of his presence and ready to bolt in a heartbeat just in case. I've seen that same positioning many times when turkeys are on edge and feel that something isn't quite right..

Last week I had a series of pictures of a bobcat surprising a doe at night. I don't think the cat was stalking the deer - he just happened to be walking to where she was standing. She sensed his presence when the cat was about 25 yards away, and jumped out of the way but didn't run off. Immediately after he passed (15 seconds) she walked right back out to the same spot and stood there watching him walk off.

I liken this to the subject that has been discussed before about how deer know the difference between a human hunting them and a farmer on a tractor. The same thing happens in nature with predator and prey.

Great picture Gator............
