Your dad looks good! Brush work looks good. Nice color in the plots with aster (or fleabane) and blackeyed susan among the purple. Have not heard or used Galiant variety RC....but should do well in your climate. Red leaves on persimmon are from fast new growth....red is in the type of chlorophyll before it becomes green pigmented. See more of that in the tropics under very high rather than our temperate climate. Looks like I need to come over your way and haul some fruit back for canning. What type of vetch is in background of last pic?
Heavy storms here which should finish out the growing season...moisture wise. All is good....just busy.
