What is this? Plant ID help

I was wondering what plant this is. I planted some alfalfa in a mix and was wondering if this might be it?

Alfalfa and Berseem Clover can look a lot alike, depending on the cultivars. If you didn't have any Berseem in your mix, I would say that is Alfalfa for sure. If you had both, I honestly can't say for certain.

My first reaction was alfalfa. My second reaction was it doesn't look quite right for alfalfa. When was it planted?

I didn’t plant any Berseem clover there. But I also have never seen a little be alfalfa plant in person. I had planted Hancock’s killer clover here. I thought it may get be alfalfa because the couple places I planted it in has this plant but I wasn’t sure either

thanks NH and FD, I now have to research what I can possibly treat weeds with.

Looks like my alfalfa. Put a cage in your plot. Bet it grows to 3 feet and blooms without the deer hammering it. I can swear there is no alfalfa in my 5+yo plot because the deer seek it out and browse to the dirt. My cage no lie to me tho.

I hope I can get it growing. I will put a cage on it . Just not sure what it looked like.
