weekend tree planting

well got the trees on Tuesday had the grandson put them in a 5 gal. bucket with some water this afternoon he and i planted 3 yates apple and 3 kiefer pears we live in south east NC pears do real good here apples so so this is the first yates i have tried will see in a couple years

Yates is a great deer apple and will drop into November in my area. It is highly disease resistant and easy to grow. The taste of the apple is also very good, but the size is a bit small compared to most good eating apples for humans.

IMHO, nothing beats Yates. Nothing I’ve found yet anyway.
