Vine popping up in plot

Okay, I was looking at "plot" in the title of your post. I would still study that label. A couple of ounces per acre difference makes a big difference in what is killed.
Another question for you Native. Is imazapic and imazapyr the same chemical? I was told by a website it was a suitable substitute.

I think the web site was correct, but it’s been a long time since I studied that.
I just read that imazapyr will kill annual grasses too. I just can’t hardly make myself by the imazapic for $170 a gallon!!! I wonder if I can just use 2,4-D…

Dr. Craig said kill the jap stilt grass with imazapic, but my woods is my food plot. I have never seen anything as wicked as imazapyr at killing target trees. Someone else suggested acclaim, $762/gallon.

Mile-a-minute is a member of the buckwheat family and I have observed heavy deer browsing of this invasive from Asia. One particular instance comes to mind on the first day of archery a mature 4 year old buck walked past a group of does grazing in a knee high ladino clover plot to get to the Asiatic tearthumb (Mile-a-minute) growing on the edge of the plot. Mile-a-minute is easy to control in a plot by mowing or spraying, but takes over in newly logged areas of woods where sunlight is prevalent. You can watch my video of this at https://deerhunterforum.com/threads/persicaria-perfoliata-species-profile-mile-a-minute-weed.6154/ in the second post.

I'm surprised that your herd will eat that stuff.
We have an absolute epidemic of MaM and our deer won't touch the stuff. It's in my top 3 of most despised invasives.

Learn new stuff here every time I drop in. 👍
Still don’t want the bindweed, but I have seen evidence of it being browsed.

I’ve gotten probably 14,563,890 trail camera pics in my days. First one ever seeing bindweed utilized. Thought the timing was funny. In all honesty she was probably trying to eat some foxtail and accidentally snagged that bindweed…
