Tree thoughts?

To all of the wise men who have been doing this stuff for years, what do you think is causing this brown/discoloration in this NRO seedling. A few of my other seedlings are also looking like this. My thinking is that it might be because of the sun. The last week was very hot, first real hot spell we have had this year. Maybe it is just some weak leafs, I’m not sure so anything thoughts would be great!

Most of my oaks indoors are doing that this year as well, i thought maybe they were getting to wet but drying them more didnt help. Not sure never had it happen so much.

Think I’m going to put some landscap fabric over the top of my cage that is keeping the birds and squirrels out. This will elimate some of the most intense sun and shade the trees for a few hours during the middle of the day.

I placed my grow box on the east side of a big crabapple tree that’s in my yard. From about 1pm on they get good shade
