Tree planting

When are y'all planting oaks?
Where do you get yours?

I have a few places on the farm i would like to plant some. Nothing crazy maybe 20/40. Plant tube and leave them.

Any help would be appreciated.

I planted 100 1 gallons a few weeks ago. Are you doing bare root or potted?

I am collecting acorns now and will plant when I can I will also some bare root from my state nursery and will get them in the spring.

I was hoping to plant in October or September. I was thinking bare rooted but I could do potted.

Check with your state nursery. That is where you will get your best deal money wise.

Mt advice is to buy tubes and good stakes first and order that many trees and make them well spaced and protected and perfect first and foremost.

I got those in the barn! Just need the trees now my friend.

Good deal,I planted 50 bee trees that were inexpensive in the spring,25 in leftover tubes and the rest without.The ones without tubes aren't even there now.It was a complete waste,The tubed ones are out the top.
