Next time you see her she will be behind your stand looking up at your stomping and snorting because of some faint little squeak your stand made. Some days it seems like that don;t have a brain in their head and then others it seems like they are impossible to kill.
I had one early this summer run into the side of my truck. I was going to work and off to my right I saw a doe feeding in a bean field about 100 yards or so off the road. So I started to slow down and sure enough the deer comes running right towards the road. I was nearly stopped and the dang thing just kept coming. Just about the time I thought to myself, "where did she go"....Bang! Right into the passenger side door. WTF! It messed her up enough that the sheriff had to put the deer down. Yep - real elusive critters sometimes!
