The pic is kind of deceiving, it’s likely a young deer, around 40” antlers. It WAS a neat find though, I’ve found them close together before, but never right on top of each other.

Good way to start off,I have probably 5 bucks that have lost 1 side and a couple that have lost both.But I won't start looking yet unless I find those easy ones like that.

Lucky y’all. I’m 51 years old and have found only one right side in my life. Cutovers and flooded swamps are difficult terrains to locate sheds tho.

Picked up another yesterday, still a lot of bucks carrying, including another good 10. So we will continue to wait a while to go into the good cover.

Seeing the same here in SC Kansas maybe 50% at most have shed both sides

Well, it has been a little bit of a slow shed season for us, but today marked our biggest find ever. It has been 8 years since we found our last 70” shed.
The tall 10 that Dawna dubbed “Temptation” yielded his left side today. I was beyond excited to pick it up. This particular spot has some good bucks usually, but it’s a jungle and very difficult to find sheds in. The heavy non-typ hangs out there too. A buddy and I will likely give it one more shot before we’re done. I’d love to find the other side. Finding at least one of the non-typ would just be icing on the cake.

He is quite symmetrical and has a little more trash on the base of his right side. A 14” spread would put him at almost 160, a modest jump would put him close to Boone this year. We’ve had pics of him for 3 years and I believe he will be 5 this year.

Very nice,3 of my top 4 bucks still were carrying both sides on the 24th so I am waiting.I found a small 4pt along edge of field driving in the farm the other night.

I never thought I’d see the day I was forced to spray cheat in a field in FEBRUARY.
Sprayed the alfalfa today… The big question is whether or not I’ll have to winterize the sprayer again and pull the pump?

With the alfalfa looking pretty good and cautiously anticipating a hay crop, the work has begun on the old New Holland swather.

If you want to work on old machinery I got a GP705 no till that I finally got parts for and need to get started.Spent way too much on online auction that they knew how to take sales photos. I really thought I could trust the seller.
