It's interesting hearing the complaints about Stihl. I bought a MS291 chainsaw about 6 months ago and first use the bar wasn't getting oil zero/none (there's no adjustment). Took it back to dealer they replaced the oiler. Tried the second time to use it and after about 5-10 minutes the bar wasn't getting any oil again. Complained to Stihl and after some runaround I was able to swap the saw out for a different MS291. That saw has only been fired once but so far so good. My uncle had the same thing happen on his smaller Stihl too. I've always been a Stihl guy but I'm starting to wonder if these are isolated instances or if the quality of the brand is slipping.
