Small grass? Freshly cleared land Virginia

Cleared a new plot for clover back in the spring and have had these two plants come up. Both are small and I do not know my weeds and grasses

I use an app called SEEK, but there are others. It says the first one is Shortleaf Spikesedge and the other is rust weed, but I had to edit the photo as it couldn’t find it the first time. I don’t know if the second one is correct or not.
