I don’t think it is a true White Oak, I have always stratified them and then planted in the early spring. I will be direct seeding them this year. I also had a bag of them in the fridge for over a year and some had produced a radicle. I put them in 1 gal. Pots and a bunch of them geminated. Those trees are now in 3 gal bags and are nearly 3 ft tall I’ve had really good luck with Sawtooth.Guess I better add them to the “plant with kids” list. Cold stratification required correct?
