WOW...I am happy to have found this place. I guess I am kind of late to find out. Like many folks ( I assume) I was not an avid poster on the afore mentioned QDMA forum, for more than a few reasons. Not the least of which was the feeling that typically my perspective was not really welcomed, as an "amateur" . I kind of understood that and just dealt with that being my caste in the society of "experts" that made up the majority of avid posters on the former site. I still managed to filter though all of the attitudes and bickering and pull out a huge wealth of knowledge that has helped me to, in the end, be a much more successful (half-baked) food plotter!!
I, like many here have stated, was always reluctant to put in my $.02, as I knew that as soon as I did...I would be shot down, criticized and told how wrong I was...so I just shut up and filtered through the vast amount of knowledge there and precipitated out the best of what applied to ky situation, and just went about my way. I am hopeful that the best of the best has made its way here...and that the spirit and brother/sisterhood of those of us who endeavor to improve the land upon which we choose to hunt will thrive here as I always hoped that it would there. We are all bound by a common passion as stewards of the environment that helps give us all meaning. I, for one, feel blessed to have this passion and to be able to share it make is that much sweeter!!
Cheers and thank you!
