That'd awesome NH! I say that's how you stay out of the rest home! Unless of course you fall and break something vital so avoid that.

Those look Great Native. I have pear trees but have never harvested one yet. I can't beat the coons to them. Do you have a problem with coons getting your pears ?

Jeff, they tear our vegetable gardens all to pieces, but never seem to bother the pears.

Yep, midget bears are what I call them.

Yes indeed. We've got bears very near our place. When they arrive I likely won't have any pear tress (or limbs) left at all.
I hate to think it but I guess I should be grateful for my pesky raccoons!
