Thanks dogghr. Yes that was taken just a couple of days ago, and you are correct on the location. Everything seems early here this year, and I have pears the size of a dime already.
There was a thread last year where folks were discussing crimson clover, and I decided to add just a small amount to my typical mix. There is medium red clover here too, but it will be a few weeks before it starts making flowers. I think the crimson might fill a gap in the fall and maybe the early spring, but it probably isn't a lot faster developing than most white clovers.
