Oaks...Chinkapins? Little help!!

I was out and about and ran across a couple trees......one is BIG tree that has what looks to be chinkapin characteristics, but has much smaller acorns that I would expect from a chinkapin. Look more like a shingle oak acorn size. The other tree is a little guy (15 ft maybe), but was LOADED with acorns. I noticed them a month ago and thought it was a Chinkapin then, now that I stood next to it I see the leaves are much more rounded than I thought they were a month ago.....so I am confused as it looks like a white of some sort? Help me out here!

Here are acorn comparison.......Tree 1 is the little one, Tree 2 the big one.

Tree 2 is english oak or a hydrid of it.
The leaf auricles suggest pure.

I expected that actually......the more I looked at it, the more I thought it was English. How old do you think that tree is? It no joke has enough acorns on it to fill several 5 gallon buckets!

Tree #1 looks like a Chinkapin to me, but I'm no expert.

10-20 years old depending on its local conditions.

Tree #1 is a chinkapin in my opinion.

I think tree #2 might be a chestnut oak. The acorns look alot like it but the leaves are a little different. Always tough to say with some oaks!
