Hey fellas. I’m new here. I think I like habitat management as much as I do hunting and trapping. I run a small trap line every Winter and deer hunt every Fall. I hope we can all learn from each other!

Welcome Marcus. You have found one of the best habitat forums on the web in my opinion. We have a few guys in your area that come to mind as well.....so you should be able to get some some-what localized advice. We range from folks fairly new to all of this to guys who have done this for decades now. Don't be worried about asking a "dumb" question.....we all started somewhere. Don't be worried about sharing or quickly becoming part of the conversation either.

Thanks @j-bird . Hopefully I have information to contribute too. I have a degree in Forestry and Natural Resources and work in the field. I also grow wildlife trees at my place just for fun! I have Persimmons, Chinese Chestnuts, Dogwoods, Burr Oaks and hope to add a few more species from seed this fall.
