New gun

My 14 yr old son has really gotten into hunting and since he started at 10 he has used my rifle. After knocking down a great 10 pt this season with it he asked me if it could now be his gun. So now I’m going to get my new rifle for the future. I decided on a Browning X bolt hells canyon 6.5 creedmoor with a Nikon Monarch 4x16 scope. Looking forward to shooting it. But most of all I’m so proud of my son and his love for hunting. His first sit with me was when he was 3.

Good going dad ! I like your choice of rifles too. I have an old ABolt in .300 WSM, and it has been a great gun from whitetails to elk. I don't hunt with it anymore, but it's in the safe, just in case.

Great choice in the gun and cartridge. Should be a great shooting combo.
