Mid day trespasser on cam

Its a young lion, looks like a female. Heres a bobcat for scale.

Cool. I'm pretty tolerant of predators but that would take a bit of a learning curve for me in the dark. Is there a season there or overprotected as in CA? Can you even leave a dog in your yard with those around?

My midday trespassers look a lot different. Mine walk upright and don't have as sharp of teeth.

Blizzard... yah mine are the upright kind too, seems like a do not trespass sign seems to just draw them in

I know several people who have had livestock killed by cougars around here, but havent heard of anybodys dog being killed, though im sure its probably happened. My neighbor dog treed a big lion cub about a year ago, that was interesting. And yes, we can hunt them.

You are definitely in lion country. Two on one picture is amazing. When does the season start for them?

Opens sep 1st. I have a TON of doubles pics on my computer. If ya count cubs i also have lots of triples pics, like this one.

That one camera in particular is just a lion highway. Have god knows how many lion pics on that cam, and its less than 100 yards from my back door. That trail goes down right through my archery targets about 50 yards from my house, then down to the creek. Heres a couple more good ones from it.
