I don't think I will be able to make it, but thanks for the invite anyway. We'll all take a rain check and come to the big deer hunter reunion that you are putting on sometime the middle of next summer.Happy New Year everyone! Black eyed Peas, Deer Steak meal here at the Hollow today!

Pork and sauerkraut for New Years day is a longstanding Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. Eat pork because pigs moving forward when they are rooting in the dirt symbolizes moving ahead in the new year, vs. chickens scratching backwards, so eating chicken on new year's is considered bad luck, although I am not superstitious.Happy New Year everyone! How'd you know we were having pork ribs and sauerkraut to start the year off right?
Aloha!Happy New Year! Kicked it off with a family and friends hike on the north shore.
