Are there any persimmon or pear types that you know would be great for deer on the GRIN website. The #'s of each listed has overwhelmed me (especially pears)
Sure there are plenty of good pears, most would search for fire blight resistance as a major consideration first. Also make sure they have the cold hardiness for your growing zone or that your area produces enough chill hours depending on your location. I dont know what the cut off date is for orders it may have already passed for this year.
Not knowing your zone Orient, acres home, Ayers, Korean Giant, Blake's Pride, Maxine, pineapple, Charles Harris, hoskins, warren, Ledbetter, and tennossie are all listed as blight resistant and the combo will drop pears from Aug through October.
