Grin budwood

All together grafted 7 trees, two golden hornet, one dolgo, one senator, than one each of some old odd ball Arkansas apples delstein, early banta, and quindel.

Quindel is a mid Oct apple with some firelight resistance not great.

Delstein is supposed to be a cross between gravenstein and red delicious. With good fire blight resistance drops mid to late Sept.

Early banta has a early to mid Sept drop time. GRIN rates this apple with their top rating for firelight resistance. Supposed to be a vigorous grower, claims to produce yearly without off years.

GRIN is an awesome source for budwood and dormant scions. It is shipped for free and cost you nothing. they don't have everything but do have a lot of different apples and pears though the pears are on quarantine at the moment

Tbud bud graft looks great. Never done one personally but I have read it is the most common grafts of commercial orchards..

Keep us updated.

This is my 1st try with apples dogdoc. I did pears a few years ago and had 3 out of 4 take so I'm hopeful on these.
