I did get pulled over today...55 in a 40 on a main highway I have to drive to get where I am working in my old 95 Nissan pickup. Super great road and I drove past the highway patrol sitting on the side of the road and he immediately lit me up. I had no idea why and he said “I stopped you because you were going 55”. I said “what is the speed limit” and he said 40 is as fast as you can go on that road...that road runs from Cookson to Sallisaw about 40 miles of road and 40 is the top speed. I was stunned! I got a warning...

Thank goodness for the warning. I don’t know about OK, but fines for speeding in TX are ridiculous.

They are here as well but it seems like they like to warn a lot. I got stopped twice in Nebraska this year for less than 5 over and got warnings both times...
