Food plot attachments

Hello all,
I am new to the whole food pot game and am just getting started. So I am based out of finger lakes area hard clay rocky soil, I have about 75 acres total and am going to be doing about 8 food plots some smaller kill plots others maybe larger. I have a 3032e John Deere and am in the market for an attachment to help prep plots. I already have a tiller but ground is way to rocky and hard for tiller we normally use for you garden. I was interested in the kunz chisel plow as a attachment that could handle rocks som roots and break fresh ground never done before. If the perfect world I would love a drill but just not in the cards currently. Looking to be planting clover, chicory and brassicas to start out then progress through the years any advice would be appreciated. On a side note if I do have to spend a little extra I have been looking at the g3 firminator more as a time saver.

A lot of plots can be done without breaking ground, especially if you spread seed before a rain. A sprayer is a must for this type of plotting. Works pretty well without churning up a bunch of rocks, especially for small seeds.

Tillage will introduce oxygen into your soil burning organic matter at a much higher rate compounding your soil issues. A smart choice of complementary seed and the adoption of min-till/no-till techniques will allow you to build OM over time while providing good deer food in the process.

I started out with a 2 bottom plow and tiller and destroyed our soils when I first started. It has taken years for them to recover by limiting tillage and building OM. There are lots of good threads on this forum discussing these techniques.

How big are the plots going to be? Do they get adequate sunlight? Do you have a mower for the tractor?

I'd start with a spreader and a sprayer.
