Sir,
I have picked up what I was told was .358 INDY.
Nice little Handi Rifle. My questions Is about using 35 REM load data . I would like to load using a 358315 cast bullet.
What do think about using 35 Rem load data for the .358 INDY? I have developed a load for 160 grain pistol bullets that are 2 moa at 100 yards. That is max distance for this combination. I would like to see if I can work up a load using Gas checked , powder coated 210 grain 358311 projectiles.
Also every time I run the load data for 358 Hoosier. I find it to be at or above 35 Rem + P . Some in the unsafe zone.
It seems to me that using 308 cases will offset the 6% difference in case length of a 35 Rem.
Could we not use all 35 Rem load data?
