First hunt of 2020!

I shot my first Hawaii hog of the year this evening. 10 yard shot and a short plentiful blood trail, starting 2020 off right!

Definitely bigger than I thought she was. When several (3-4) hogs of the same size come in at once they're generally 50 pounds or less from my experience in this area. It was getting dark when I shot this pig, if they were two minutes later I doubt I would have had a shot. She's probably 80 pounds, really the best eating size pig I could have asked for. It rained all day though and the slip -n-slide drag up and over finger ridges and through bamboo turned out to be quite the adventure. Over an hour of excitement.
