Fireblight?

Picture from 2 year old Enterprise apple. I was little surprised by this as have cultivars right around it much more susceptible to FB than enterprise. And it has been rather cold and not humid at all.

Thoughts?

I have an infection that causes symptoms similar to fire blight but without the same severity. I'm not sure what it is but I brought it in on a store-bought cherry that I shouldn't have bought. I don't suspect fire blight on your tree.

Did the tree have any flowers? It's highly unusual (although not impossible) for a tree to get FB infections without flowers being present. On a tree this small, FB can resemble other maladies, so hard to say for sure. I would go ahead and trim off those limbs to keep it from getting into the trunk.

no flowers yet.....that was my thinking it has to be something else, but had slight resemblance of hook of FB.

will trim off, hope doesn't turn into anything more otherwise just be planting something else in its spot.
