Fert recomendations

Hey guys, 3 years ago i started persimmions, oaks and dunstans from seed. I was thinking of giving them some fertilzer this spring. What mix and application is best for these young trees?

I'm not sure your chestnuts want a higher ph...thought they liked acidic soil.

Something to look into to before blindly dumping lime on everything.

Kabic, i agree that any inputs should be measured. I looked up dunstans and a recommended ph is between 5.0 and 7.0 so i am on the lower end.

What i found for the other trees i planted are:
American persimmon - 6.5 to 7.5
Sawtooth oak - above 5
Swamp White Oak - below 5.9

I haven't found an ideal ph for dwarf chinkapin oaks yet. If anyone knows the ideal ph please let me know.

Did you ever find an answer to the preferred DCO pH?
