Up here for a few days of salmon fishing on Lake Ontario. Man, this weather is AWESOME!!!

Got the opportunity to spend some of the day yesterday with my buddy Flo1919 looking at his property and all he has going on there, and being treated to lunch by he and his awesome wife and little man. And, got to look at the sawtooths he's started from acorns I've sent up here. Thanks buddy for the hospitality.

Glad you are hitting the fish LLC. So far this year has been the best salmon fishing here in over ten years. Catches of 8 to 10 per day are normal and some have even had twenty fish landed in one day. It is like it used to be. It was 46 degrees this morning with a daytime high of 72; that ought to bring them in a bit closer to shore. And thi9s evening it is back down to 53 already. Sounds like you have a great host there.

Took me about ten minutes to get him in the boat. Lake was rough today but I was able to scratch out a limit with two nice two year olds and a REALLY nice steelhead. Good trip. Really enjoy my time up here.

It's not everyday you tell your wife "so I met this guy on-line...".
LLC is as good as we get. His passion for the outdoors is infectious.
It is one of the best things about this site, and even the previous one, that we have the opportunity to become a friends with fellow hunters and land stewards.

Couldn't agree more. You should see his farm. It a habitat dream. And...he can teach a thing or 2 about grafting trees. Got about 10 of his grafts doing great on my place this year and a bunch of chestnut and sawtooth whips growing in tubes. Guy can grow some crazy good plots too!

Couldn't agree more. You should see his farm. It a habitat dream. And...he can teach a thing or 2 about grafting trees. Got about 10 of his grafts doing great on my place this year and a bunch of chestnut and sawtooth whips growing in tubes. Guy can grow some crazy good plots too!
