When are y'all guys seeing these start to drop?

I’m going to have to retract what I said. I was at my farm today and there are several burs yet to open. Some trees still have a lot to drop. Like I said before, every tree seems to have a different drop time.

I have three Dunstans. They were purchased at Walmart and planted in 2015. This is the first year that they have produced any burrs. Most of the burrs are still green. My Chinese Chestnuts have been dropping for two weeks.

My dad bought Dunstans in 2014ish (SW Indiana).

Burs are green and still closed.

I checked mine again today. The burs are still green but are opening up.

Ours in the hills of WV have dropped. Collected a bunch of them 2 weeks ago.
