I’ve heard of this several times throughout the years especially with gardeners but I thought I would share. A buddy of mine was showing me some trail camera pictures and his wheat looked great and we had an extremely dry fall. He said his dad told him a trick for dry years = soak your wheat seed for 12 hours before planting. This guy doesn’t have any equipment to speak of so he just takes the wheat in a 5 gallon bucket and spreads it the best he can and takes his lawn mower and mows it. His plots looked better than mine and I just spread with a hand seeder then brush hog down and mine went 4 weeks without rain.
