Well I bought one, I looked around on CL for awhile looking at 4 wheelers and such, but to be in the same price range, theyre pretty used up so it was a choice between a beat up 4 wheeler and the brand new mini bike. The choice wasn't too hard. I messed up and should've ordered it a day before and I would've saved myself about $50 on shipping, there wasn't any at my local TSC, which is about 45min away anyway. So I just had it shipped to the house, I'm not sure if it will be here today or tomorrow, the tracking system needs some help.
Theres a ton of upgrades for these, theres torque converters, lots of engine upgrade parts etc. If I blow the engine up, I just go down to Harbor Freight and buy a new one. Ive seen where guys are turning out some pretty decent HP and RPMs out of those engines. Redbeardsgarage on YouTube has a lot of upgrades. Many other youtube channels too.
I think itll be perfect for what I want to do with it, right now I'm gonna leave it at the farm I rented, its 10 miles from home. I wanted it to ride around checking to see if the furrow irrigation made it through, and then to get to the pipe and change rows. Itll help keep some mud out of the pickup and just be easier to get around than the pickup. At most Ill ride it around and check the pivot too, its a different field that's on the other side of the section but its 2 sections without a road through the middle, so I have to go all the way around to get to it. If I pick up the farm I'm hoping, Ill have to come up with a rack on the back of the pickup to carry the bike around, still sounds better than dragging a trailer around with a 4 wheeler all summer.
