Mid-August Update...(cont from previous page)
I continue to appreciate these 10 year old Sawtooth oaks. They are beautiful trees and add so much to the property.
And they are quite productive.
My main goal for clear cutting 8-10 acres last year was to create a “nasty mess”. I think it is getting there, and will hopefully provide thick cover for animals of all sort. Two summers…2015 on the left, 2016 on right

And for my Native Hunter / dogghr “appreciate the scenery moment” Not sure what weed/flower/bloom attracted these butterflies, but it was worth a stop!
