Black oak?

I think so, but not 100% certain.... I always think Black oaks look like a cross between norther red oaks and pin oaks. They are the size and style of a NRO, but they have deeper lobes like a pin oak, without the "thin" appearance of a pin oak leaf.

What you doing by the train tracks? That's where all the pot-heads, hobo's and skanks hang out......Oh, I get it.....Never mind!!!;):p:D

Reminds me of black oak. I always think the bark, especially on mature black oaks looks a little bit like alligator hide, with separate, blocky shapes, as opposed to red oaks more linear bark pattern.

People look at me like I'm one of those people carrying my bag of nuts around the park.
