Best 20ft ladder

I’m slowly replacing stands on my property with ladder stands where possible. They last longer, can be more comfortable, but mostly are just safer (especially for friends and family).

My favorite is the millennium l110 (Cadillac but around $330/stand).

I’m willing to pay for these for safety and comfort, but before ordering thought I’d check to see others opinions on stands. Ranking of priorities:

1) safety/sturdiness/durability
2) comfort (ability to sit 5+ hours)
3) sling seat style preferred
4) 20’ +\- height
5) price.

Any thoughts from those that sit long periods in one?

I have 6 Field and Stream Outpost XL on my place. They are 17ft to the platform. I always order an extra ladder making it almost 21ft to the platform. Large comfortable sling type seat. Large platform. Can sit in them all day long. Found all of mine on sale for $159. The extra ladder is $39. Best option for me

Do as PineSap said. I've got each and the FS is much better made, easier to assemble, easier to put up and sits just as comfortable if not moreso than the Millennium. The Millennium is screwed up on its packageing, harder to figure directions, weighs as much as a car, and is a beast to put up on a hillside without a helicopter compared to the FS. Not any more comfortable and is noisier until you add quieteners. BTW, as I found out last year , Cabellas will not take an unopened , stabled box containing a treestand back for any credit or exchange as I found out the hard way. Its in the fine print. And if you watch, I caught my FS on sale for 139, thats 2 of those for a Mille.
I prefer lock on stands but they are a nice change of pace and my son loves them. I had end of season hunt with a dozen deer and 2 shooter bucks within 15-20 yds. They are ignored more by deer than I wouldve thot even tho I do have them well masked.

have had one for four yrs. best out there great seat sit all day no problem keep checking DICKS for there sales

YES as said the D tubing solid no swaying at all going up and down its 10 times better than others

When I got my property I bought a bunch of Ameristep skyscraper ladderstands. They are 22 foot stands and are absolutely amazing. To be honest I’ve never been in a stand that compares to how sturdy, comfortable and huntable as they are. Favorite is the trapdoor entry. Downside they don’t make them anymore but you can sometimes find them online. If someone would start producing them again they would make a fortune.

I bought a few Hawk 20' or 21' ladders a few years ago and they are pretty awesome. Great big platform, a sling seat that folds up next to tree if you want to stand and fold away railing and foot rests. Quiet and easy to bowhunt out of.
