My wife and I are starting a two day swing through Oklahoma, we're going to check out some Civil War sites, and visit some Native cultural museums. Forecast calls for two days of rain. You're welcome.

Oh yea, if you come anywhere near our area 2 days of 80 - 100% rain might equal 1/10th" and you can stand in it both days solid and your shirt will barely be damp...

Here is a good example of that...rain in Texas is staying south and rain headed through Missouri developed north...

Just took me an hour to drive in the steady rain from Fayetteville to Van Buren. Must be my personal cloud ️. I'll try to bring it your way tomorrow.

I certainly hope you can...I noticed Arkansas is not having the issues we have here in Oklahoma...

Every state that borders us is doing well on rain but we can't seem to get any of it...

Wife told me she drove in a downpour all the way from claremore to about a mile from our house and then it was gone...I was here and watched it pass right on by...

We had more than enough rain yesterday. I just wish the same amount of rain would come down a little slower over more time. It doesn't help to rain so quick just to watch it run off because the ground will only absorb so much water in a short time. Today we already have a wind warning at work for over 30 mph winds. No cranes or high elevation work until it slows down.

I sure hate seeing your drought. One would think after all this time it would have broke by now. You have got to be due for a good wet summer.

I remember feeling like that in 2012 watching showers roll around us over and over again. It was so frustrating. I can't imagine that going on for years, must be awful.
