Any 35 Whelen Reloaders?

When I moved from the Rockies to NY 8 years ago, I semi retired the 7STW, 300wby and 340wby rifles and started the hunt for a more woods friendly thumper (In truth, I own too many hunting rifles and needed another one like I needed another wife). The last couple years, I've picked up a a Remington pump and autoloader in 35 Whelen. About the same time, our legislature outlawed online purchases of ammo. Finding semi exotic ammo in stock in this state has become a fool's errand. As a result, I've dusted off the reloading equipment and started rolling my own. I'm presently loading up 225 Sierra Game Kings with a dose of Varget. Studying the reloading manuals, the 225s appear to be the sweet spot has far as velocity and efficiency (factory 200g rounds have not particularly impressed me with their accuracy/velocity). Does anyone have any experience with this round?

I have built two .35 Whelen bolt guns. I love em.
325s are probably more accurate, but here in Alabama I hunt in close quarters. I've always used the 200s for Deer, and the 250s for Hogs, and Out of state Elk, Bama has no Elk. I've carried my last Whelen Bear hunting twice and haven't had a shot. I have killed an Elk with my Iron sighted .44 Mag pistol, In Montana. (Elk went about 35 yards and laid down, by the time I got to him with my Whelen, he was dead. Indian Guide was in awe... (I was too, but didn't say it)

On my Whelen builds... First had a 24" barrel, Second time around, I had a Shaw 22" barrel. Not quite as much velocity, but I never carried a Whelen for Velocity. The 22" was much more portable.
