When you say that the rut is in full swing in LA it leads me to believe you've introduced northern genetics to your herd. I have family that own and operate a high fence in Alabama and the rut inside the fence is blowing up right now but the 10k acres surrounding the 1k acre high fence won't see the rut until late December. Either way it's still some awesome deer you guys are putting on the ground. CongratulationsRut is in full swing here in central La. Was a good weekend and we took several nice bucks. Nope. These are native home grown bucks.Nothing ever introduced, no DMP, TTT or anything Simply have managed what is available to us. This is when bucks rut around here.
