How many feet of pipe do you need?
I bought belled ended pipe for my 100 foot long spillway pipe like this stuff:
pipe
note you need to use a slow setting PVC cement and be ready with a tractor bucket or something to push it together.
I called MDC to pay for a re-allocation of dogwoods and while I had the nice lady on the line I asked about the Concordia oaks. They did have some this year but sold out quickly.
by the way, MDC is offering the Concordia Oak this year. They will open for online purchases this Saturday:

I have several Concordia oaks and know of several more on relative's places. All planted in the early days of them being available - actually picked them out of a refrigerated truck at the Concordia swimming pool parking lot. They have varying degrees of success with respect to growth for...
Have caught that show myself. In the past 7 years I have probably tagged 25 box turtles by writing my initials and the date in marker on the shell. Have yet to see one a second time, although I now wonder if it wears off.
Great project! Stately home - do you know the year it was built?
I have a buddy that used a skid steer mounted tree spade to move trees on his farm. He said he later learned he was much better off with small trees as they quickly passed the larger trees he got greedy with on size - they...
I look forward to seeing if any of my chestnuts produce nuts this year. I have seen husks before but don't know if they actually had seeds. Below is a picture from a few weeks ago of a "dunstan" direct seeded in February 2013. I say "dunstan" as I bought them off ebay in the early years...
After I posted above my hand started twitching and before I could stop it I had ordered 25 more Shumards from MDC. They arrived yesterday. Guess I have plans this weekend after I give up chasing turkeys in the AM.
I have not, but understand the interest in growing your own. Shumard is one of my favorite oaks, perhaps only second to swamp white oak. But maybe throw in the towel and order seedlings while they are still available? https://mdc6.mdc.mo.gov/Applications/TreeSeedling/Home/ProductDetails/70?
HOWDY Jeff! I have picked up burr oak acorns from THAT tree myself - maybe 5-6 years ago. I live just a mile or two away. There's several behind the walmart in the retention area that produced well too.
If anyone is serious about planting black walnut I suggest checking the "Black Walnut Suitability" overlay on the Web Soil Survey to see if walnuts have a good chance on your site.
I wish one of my neighbors would plant their whole place to oak!!
