Looking for a strap to hang my camera that automatically expands as say the tree grows. Similar to neck collars they put on deer.
I'm finding interesting use for my old trail cameras that no longer work having problems with neighbors trespassing so I am putting old cameras along property lines...
Been doing some coon catching before turkey nesting season. I am using dog proof traps. My question is are these bear proof aka cub proof.
I'm in bear country but got to thinking could a cub their hand caught down in there and they wow i don't know how you would get it out as sure momma would...
Our property line with my neighbors has just been an old cattle fence and we are friendly enough to call that good.
However as years go by that cattle fence dissappears. What do you use for permanent property line markers. Only really care for logging purposes so they have visual

Humbled by mother nature.....20 years planting food plots and I not only had my 1st failed spring planting (no rain from 5/5 to almost July 4th) but also my 1st failed fall planting, as it is starting to show wilting and with the heat returning and no rain in sight not likely to make it.

Any ideas on how long seed can lay on ground without rain. I planted up here this last week as was supposed to be a real soaker like a day later 0% chance and got nothing and another week before next rain. Soil was super dry as like others been drought all summer.
How long can seed survive...
see normally i complain up here when temp gets above 30 degree mark, usually that is my signal for t shirt weather begging for winter to come back hahaha
Can you still hack and squirt trees in December and be effective? I'm in WI so not a ton of 30+ degree days. January-March are pretty much out and then all sudden spring projects take over, so would be nice to do this in December if can still get results from it.
Any ideas on what it could be. Nice buck but has developed a lump in his throat. Not sure if he would make it one more year to really see what he blossoms into

I got some logging trails that have really been opened up and i planted them with brassicas ........i didn't think about this until i have some work to do ha. How tolerant are brassica mixes to traffic....i can go around with tractor, but like ATV can it handle a pass every now and then and...
i'm not great judge....but my gut originally said 3.5. However, i also don't live anywhere near you so our northern bucks put on weight much differently.
every year comes by and i say i'm good i got enough trees and then somehow next spring i end up with 200 pine trees, 30 apple trees, some pear, plum, ROD bushes, etc. ha...i doubt this year will be any different
I use a fabric decomposing pot for my scions.......i live decent ways away from my farm so i can't monitor my newly grafted trees very well, so i plant them in pots at my house. You got to make sure you keep up on watering though. I'm not sure how much success you will have with grafting this...
you have time yet to put in brassica mix for fall. I would imagine nova scotia is similar zone to my neck of the woods and many years i haven't planted until mid-august here, but all my plots i don't even throw down Winter Rye until after labor day here and can have lush green plot in week or...
