    Property Line Markers

Our property line with my neighbors has just been an old cattle fence and we are friendly enough to call that good. However as years go by that cattle fence dissappears. What do you use for permanent property line markers. Only really care for logging purposes so they have visual PVC, Steel...

    Drought and Survival

Humbled by mother nature.....20 years planting food plots and I not only had my 1st failed spring planting (no rain from 5/5 to almost July 4th) but also my 1st failed fall planting, as it is starting to show wilting and with the heat returning and no rain in sight not likely to make it. Can't...

    Hack and Squirt - Winter?

Can you still hack and squirt trees in December and be effective? I'm in WI so not a ton of 30+ degree days. January-March are pretty much out and then all sudden spring projects take over, so would be nice to do this in December if can still get results from it.

    Making your own trees

I use a fabric decomposing pot for my scions.......i live decent ways away from my farm so i can't monitor my newly grafted trees very well, so i plant them in pots at my house. You got to make sure you keep up on watering though. I'm not sure how much success you will have with grafting this...

I would imagine nova scotia is similar zone to my neck of the woods and many years i haven't planted until mid-august here, but all my plots i don't even throw down Winter Rye until after labor day here and can have lush green plot in week or...
