Small grain screenings

Hi all, glad to see some familiar faces. I just got a call from a buddy that has about 1k lb's of Triticale screenings from when they cleaned the seed yesterday. I'm sure it has some rye and some wheat in it as well as plenty of trash. I'm thinking of over seeding a couple plots of alfalfa/radish/turnips, and radish/turnips. Can any one see any issue's that I may run into? I will be spinning on 1 ton of pelletized lime/ac and thought I might as well spin on some seed. Was thinking of going with a heavier rate with it not bering pure seed. Thinking around 150 llbs/ac.This is sandy soil so I usually plant heavy when I broadcast. I will not be cultipacking eaither. Good shot of rain this weekend and would like to get it done prior. Thanks for any input

Along with the small/cracked, wheat and rye seeds, along with the hulls and trash, you'll get any weed seeds that are there too. No extra charge!

Yeah, there could be plenty of crap in there. I guess if it looks to rough I won't mess with it. This won't be going to seed as the deer keep the plots mowed and will be spraying off in the spring. Just wanting something to fill in any light spots.

Loaded up about 18 bu this eve. Looks surprisingly clean. These were the bigger seeds and it does have some hulls in it but nothing terrible. Should work great.
