New Row Planter

KS Farms 3 Row Planter For My Track Loader. Kinze Pusher Units With No-Till Coulters. David at KS Farms makes the highest quality row planters I've seen in the food plot world. After looking into several other businesses that make row planters for the food plotter, I came acros KS Farms and I wouldn't consider buying one anywhere else. I drove 1300 miles round trip over the weekend to Kansas to meet David, check out his other planters and operation, row planter 2.jpg and pickup my planter. Quality is top notch.

Wow, that is cool. I actually have a drawing of something similar that I had in the plans to make at home. I think the skid steer is the most versatile tool on the place and given the right attachments it would be perfect for plotting.

KS Farms makes some high quality stuff. Very cool. What row spacing are you using? Will you use the outer 2 rows for corn and all three for beans?

I couldn't agree more, I wish I would've switched to a skidsteer years ago. I have a hi-flow tiller, fert/pell lime spreader, Bo Dozer root rake, Kasco Seeder, and the row planter now, which covers me for everything I need for planting while driving forward vs. dragging implements in reverse. If you plan on building your own, you could just buy their Drivemission Drive and make life easy!

20" row spacing. I will use all three for beans and corn. I planted corn last year with my GP no till on 15" rows and it turned out great. Up where I'm planting I mostly plant tall field corn for screening purposes or short statured Cannamaize corn to break up large plots and create edge between the different crops. Lots of bears up here, so planting large plots of corn can turn into a nightmare come opening weekend of rifle in MN when 3-4 fat bears are rolling around in your corn for a last pig out before their long nap for the winter.

That's pretty nice.

I checked out the website and it appears I'm in the wrong damn business! We bought a whole 12 row planter for less than they want for a 4 row!!!
