anyone have a newer moultrie that runs off AA batteries?

Im curious to the kind of battery life you are getting on these?

I used to have the ones that run off a 6volt and the darn thing lasted a year! Now they have changed some to running off AAs and I’m somewhat concerned with length of battery life.

I have a 5 gallon moultrie that uses AA. I've had the same set of Kirkland batteries in it for 2 years. Gonna need new ones this year. I only run it for 4 months 1 time a day for 3 sec.

I’ve got two Moultrie feeder that I’ve had for 5 years or so. They both use 4 AA batteries. Feeding every day, twice per day I get 3-4 months out of them (in the dead of winter). I’ve been VERY happy with the battery life since day one. Only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a meter to show how the batteries are holding up. I always do a quick test spin when I’m there to see if it sounds like the batteries are beginning to struggle.
